MOTORMONK PRIVACY POLICY

Motormonk (the operator of the Motormonk website, referred to herein as "us" and "we") takes your privacy seriously. Our policy is clear: we collect no personally identifiable information about you when you visit the Motormonk website unless you provide that information to us.

This Privacy Policy is effective upon acceptance by new members during registration or by use of the website by non-members, and is otherwise effective through the means described in the section titled “Changes to This Privacy Policy” below. Scope: What This Privacy Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of the information that is collected when you register and create a Motormonk account, when you post content to the Motormonk website, and when you view any content on the Motormonk website.

This policy does not describe any other information collection policies on websites not provided by us, including those linked to from any of our websites. It also does not cover information you may choose to share with other users of Motormonk.

Personal information: We only collect personal information from you that you knowingly submit to Motormonk in the course of the account creation process. Non-Personal Information: We collect some non-personal information that you voluntarily submit to Motormonk. Non-personal information consists of information relating to your preferences and interests that does not identify you, including but not limited to the make, model, year and trim of your vehicle.

Log Data: We automatically collect certain log data when you login, visit, or post content to the Motormonk website. This information includes, but is not limited to, the date of your visit, your location, the pages that you access, referring page, browser type and configuration, and the number of times you return to the website.

At all times, you remain in control of your information and may select what information you make public or choose to share with other users.

We may share or disclose your information upon your consent, such as when you grant a third party application access to your account.

Non-Personal Information & Log Data: The Non-Personal Information and Log Data collected by Motormonk will not be used to identify any particular user. This information may be used in the aggregate for targeted advertising, site analytics and development.

Modifying Your Personal Information

Motormonk provides you with the ability to modify your own personal information or delete your account. However, you may also request that such information be removed from our records by e-mail to motormonk1@gmail.com. Please be aware, however, that if you choose to have your personally identifiable information removed from our records, you will no longer be able to receive certain updated information from us, or participate in various functions of the Service.

How We Protect the Security of Your Information

We maintain an information security program that uses reasonable and appropriate measures to protect the security, confidentiality, and integrity of your personal information. All of your personal information, including usernames and passwords, is encrypted.

Children's Issues
The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do knot knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we remove the information and terminate the account. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy was last modified on May 10, 2011. We reserve the right to modify the terms of this Privacy Policy at any time and your continued use of the Service will constitute your acceptance of those changes. In the event there are any changes to be made, we will notify all registered users of those changes via the email address that you provide in the sign up process and post these changes for the benefit of nonregistered users. We will also maintain an archive of past privacy policies for your review.
